Its all most that time of year that we give thanks and we thank people and say how greatfull we are and we are decorateing for thanksgiving and we have a turkey i love thanksgiving because of all the food turkey, stuffing,bread, slush, oh my and i have so many crafts just waiting for me to put on the thanksgiving table and so much more
I cant wait until Halloween because i love CANDY and my costume is awesome I'm going to be a candy corn witch how cool is that i mean i always wanted to be one but finaly i have the stuff for it and Natalie will be a zombie Cheer leader and i came up with a cool Cheer that she can say"we got spirts yes we do we got spirts how about you?" my mom said it was phunny i don't get it but any way Ryan will be a football player or bat man or supper man or Robyn (he Candy make up is mind)but i cant wait also I'm decorating my room to be more halloweenish! (is that even a word?)
A couple days ago we went to Cox Farms. It's one of my favorite places to go in the fall. Mostly because they have free cider and apples. One of my favorite parts is the hay ride. It's really fun and the driver is always really funny. I also really like the vortex in the corn maze. You walk through a dark tube and it has lights spinning around you and it makes you feel like you are spinning upside down. I'm pretty big for most of the activities there, but they are still fun!
when you think of the county fair do you think of rides,funnel cake (i love funnel cake),rides or maybe games, yes i think of all of those but what i cant wait for is the art department that's when you enter all of the art that you made in the last 6 months and see if you won any thing and you might even get payed if you score first second or third and i have been working really hard for some good art and i need to carry a ton of things to the fair grounds because i want to enter a bunch of stuff and you can also enter plants, pictures, and food, and a whole lot more and i love there funnel cake that's one of my favorite foods and i love the rides because there so much fun and i cant wait!
at the last swim meet i was so scared the night before because of one stroke BREAST STROKE was so scared and then it came the last single person stroke i will ever do in this season i was so scared because i was worried i would not break the record all of my friends said i could do it but i was so scared that i would not break it because i was so close then when it was my turn i got in to my dive and they said go and i swam like i never swam before then by the time it was done i asked what my time was and they said 48 but 48 what what about the micro seconds it all depented on that i had to get 48.12 or lower they have not called me yet i started to think i did not break it then the called " we have a new V.A. oaks record for 9 10 girls LAUREN CANDLAND " i was so happy ! i could not belive it then at the end of the year party they handed out a record for all the people who broke a record and my time was 48.00 48 flat so now my name will be up there for sum time before some one will come along and break my record (i hope no one will)
today we are going to a water park in bull run camp grounds and it so so cool but last time i went there i had a big cut so bad i couldnt swimm any more and its not even healed and i had bled for at least 15 min then they got first aid and it was really hard to dive for swim teat and also it made my diveing even harder i may have sprained my foot so now im freaked out on going to that area because i dont want that to happen again but on the good side about having my cut was we got a free coupon for one person to go for free and also my dad is comeing this th first time he has had a full day off in a while and my brother ryan loves this place
this monday im going to basketball camp and its going to be so much fun! I have always liked basketball. I think it just comes to me because im very tall (i think i get that from dad) and for my birthday i wanted a basketball and my wish came true! Dad gave me a basketball. and every once and a while me and dad would go up to the park and practice and i really want to matches in the winter and fall and do swimming in spring and summer.Dad says im most likely to be the tallist girl basketball is going to be so easy
O.K. first of all i hate swimming in the rain it totally slows me down i gained ten seconds of my IM but i was in seconed so its good now and at the swimm meet today it was pouring rain a major threat to the meet so all the time it rained all the people who raced where slowed down and when the rain stopped i came in first!bu at lease i have 3 heat ribbons but there still wet but the meet was still fun shure it was raining but we still had a lot of fun like uno and watching movies and of course swimming and im a super competive swimmer and also verry fast 3 seconds away from a team record and 6 seconds away from a breaststroke record! but there was this REALLY REALLY fast girl iwas raceing (she is like a super woman swimmer) bu i really want to improve a lot this year it going to be hard and i need to work hard too its going to be a big challenge this year GO VOSD WE ROCK!!!!!!!!!
i want it to be over so bad i want school to be over it is june all ready its hot at P.E. and not much pool time and still home work i all ready finished my S.O.L.s and so no more big testes for the whole year! bu still i wake up at 7:45 in the morning and get ready for school and i ts a pain and 10 min. after I'm outside I'm all ready sweating but at lease we have our air conditioned class room (sometimes) but im also sad to leave school because i have a lot of really good friends. i will miss the gifted and talented program because i love being so creative and i love my teachers my gifted and talented teacher Mrs.Willco and my history teacher MrsWollmack and my regular teacher who i think has read every book i know, give it up to.... Mrs.Reynolds. she is so nice and i cant wait for school to be over but i will miss it so much!
To day we are going to the zoo in Washington D.C. with my aunt and William ( that's my cousin William ) but on the way there we are dropping off my aunt at the airport but any ways i cant wait to go to the zoo its going to be so much fun we are going to see lions zebras and tigers oh my (:
Sprng nice cool but not to cool hot but not to hot just right latly its poured i have snored and i have been bord but its going to be nice weather and my BIRTHDAY IS IN SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the best day in MAY and this is a cool fact my mom and dads aniversy in on may 17th and my birthday is may 16th pretty cool right and for my birthday we are going to clay cafe a day before my birthday and we are doing the first non potery party we are doing bottle cap magnets (sooooooo cool) and all my frends are comeing its my second bigist birthday ever and my first was at pump it up i invited i think 24 kids wow thats a lot but now i dont have that many frends any more but back to spring now i hve grown my verry own flower its an impatent a pink one too me and ryan ( thats y little brother) painted our pots mine is striped and the stripes are white and green and pink and blue and some purple poka dots and it says in yellow letters shine and ryans pot he says is the ghosts from haunted manson ( thats a ride and a movie fromdisney) and to me it just looks like diffrent colors splatered on
Latly I have been doing cards for my card club and mom let me use her scrap book room because she said i could make some cards because i was bord and beacause im verry creative so i made tons and tons and a ton of cards it was sssssssssoooooooooooo much fun and i love being in a card club because i can make so many diffrent types and so many colors i cant name them all and i took some ideas from the computer and turned them into my verry own lauren candland orignal it was so much fun and i have a gift card to jo-anns ( thats a fabric store my favorite store) and mom gave me a box to put all my cards in and i really want to deacorite in and buy some fancy paper from jo-anns but lately my dad has been travleing a lot last week he cane home from china so i need to hold off the crafting for a little while I NEED TO BE CRAFTY sooner or later i will lose my crafty touch!!!!!!! but i cant wait till dad gets home from Florda he just went a coupple days ago and he is staying right next to DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!! man i miss that place so much but my favorite park was EPCOT (the best park to me) but any way i cant wait to see him
