Wormy Apple Croissants

I checked this book out at the library and it has all spooky Halloween recipes. I made this one all by myself and they are so good! You should try them.
Needed:
refrigerator crescent rolls
1 granny smith apple
caramel sauce
gummy worms
Peel the apple and cut it into small chunks. Put the apple pieces into a small saucepan and about 3/4 cup of water. I also added some sugar, cinnamon, and a drop of vanilla. Then cook over med heat for about 5 minutes. Drain water and put into a bowl. Stir in about 1/4 cup caramel sauce. Spread out crescent triangle on a cookie sheet. Put about 1 tablespoon of apple on the crescents and then roll them up sealing the edges. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes. Then use a straw to make hole to stick the worms in. Drizzle with caramel sauce. These were really yummy when they were warm!

Camping

Dad took me and Natalie camping this weekend with Brian and his kids. We got to go to Luray Caverns and the maze next door. We hiked down to a waterfall and then climbed the rocks all the way back up. It was really cold at night, but we brought extra blankets and kept warm. We saw two bears and tons of deer.

Slumber Party

I got to have my first slumber party.  I invited three friends; Savannah, Bree,  and April.  We got to make carmel apples and then we watched Nim's Island with popcorn and soda.  Then mom played Spoons with us and taught us how to play Murder.  We stayed up until 11:30 and then fell asleep in the family room.  In the morning, mom said we couldn't get up until 7 at the earliest, so we slept until then.  We had crepes--my favorite--for breakfast.  We got to put strawberries and whipped cream or butter and syrup, or a combination.  We all had a really good time.  I can't wait until my next sleep-over!
